What if you had 2 Christmas parties at once?

What would you do if you were ask to 2 Christmas parties at once? How can you tell one no, without hurting the other parties feelings?
Well, it depends on the parties, in my opinion. I personally would not won't to ditch either party to go to another. If one were a family get together, I would make sure that party was the one that I spent the most time at and then if there was time available, I would go to the other. Of course, I wouldn't want to show up late for a party either. Christmas is such a hard time to fit everything in. There are so many things to go to, things to do and so many other obligations that sometimes it can almost be impossible to make an appearence at everything. If you can't make it to a party, people should understand. Explain it to them. Trust your instincts and do what you think is right.

I would go to both of them. Spend an hour at one, then leave and spend an hour at the other. Spread the Christmas cheer!

Spend a little time at each if you can. Attend one for a bit plead tiredness or drunkeness (ha ha) and go to the other party. Or you could explain the situation if you felt 2 frazed…

Decide if you want to go to both first! If you don't tell the other one you already have plans but thank them for the invitation. Maybe even ask the invitor to go out to lunch with you sometime instead. Merry Christmas.
