This is a moving … This is a moving and beautiful song, and that’s coming from a atheist with serious qualms about religion. It’s not so much the lyrics to me, as much as it is how they’re delivered and expressed, rather than simply played out. Absolutely wonderous playing and singing.
Cheers, DMB fans and everyone else alike. Happy Holidays, as well.
I have never been a … I have never been a church go’er. but i saw this song live and i love it. I’m not saying it made me religous but its a great song.
your absolutely … your absolutely right…nobody really knows how influential his music has been on todays culture, especially his fans. By giving so much inspiration and joy to people over the past 15+ years Dave, Carter, Boyd, Stefan and Roi have changed the live of many and will always be remembered I think for always having a positive thing to say. They are truly pioneers
I know DMB is huge … I know DMB is huge in many circles, but I truly feel Dave is underrated as a songwriter. I think we’re looking at a musician who will always have a career, long after DMB is over. He’s going to be a Clapton, he’s never going to stop writing brilliant music. We’ll still be hearing from him in the decades to come.
no its not luther … no its not luther college. ive been trying to find pictures of the luther college show everywhere and i cant find any. except that pic on the back of the case, if thats even from luther college

he has been quoted … he has been quoted of saying hes agnostic, which means he believes in a god but not a specific one. but who knows he may have changed his mind. esp with our friend LeRoi passing. RIP!
He was raised in a … He was raised in a strict Quaker family, which is why he moved to America. It was against his and his families belief to join the military. But who knows what goes on inside his head.
from my … from my understanding dave respects all religions and does not worship one specific religion, however during “gravedigger” video recording at a church he spoke to the priest and felt truly touched by his words. Whether he truly believes in Christianity I’m sure that’s between him and those who have a close relationship with him.
